An AI Experiment in Creative Orchestration

The Big Idea

Welcome to an experiment in what happens when you ask artificial intelligence to orchestrate other artificial intelligence systems. This project isn't just about creating satirical songs from the news – it's about exploring whether AI can effectively direct, coordinate, and instruct other AI systems to produce creative work.

Every day, the system takes the day's news stories and transforms them into a unique satirical song. But here's the interesting bit: the software itself was built with extensive help from AI, and many of the instructions that guide the creative AI systems were also written by AI. This is AI helping AI help AI.

The entire creative process happens automatically with zero human intervention. Following initial human direction, an AI software agent built a comprehensive scheduling and categorisation engine that now runs the whole show autonomously. The collation of articles into the site and updating the site catalogue are also fully automated.

From gathering the news to publishing the updated site, the whole process takes about 3 minutes – creating original satirical songs, artwork, and a fully published webpage faster than you can make a cup of tea.

The AI Behind the AI

What makes this project particularly interesting is that artificial intelligence was extensively involved in building the software itself. AI systems helped write code, debug issues, design the prompting strategies, and even generate many of the fixed prompts that instruct the creative AI systems.

In a very real sense, this is an AI-created experiment in AI orchestration – a kind of Russian doll of artificial intelligences, each one instructing the next, all the way down to the final song you hear.
